About the project

These photographs from a larger series were taken San Francisco’s former transbay bus terminal that was located on the site of the Salesforce Transit Center and demolished in 2010. Built in 1939 and designed by Timothy L. Pflueger, the terminal was a commuter hub and in its later years, informal homeless shelter.
